CHICAGO AND NORTH WESTERN

(POST WW II)

As additional streamlined 400 trains were added, Chicago & North Western continued to have somewhat complex assignment patterns. And as before the war, more trains operated beyond Milwaukee through Green Bay on Sundays.

Chicago & North Western also provided an entrance into Chicago for Union Pacific, for its "Cities" trains operating to and from the west coast.


Only streamlined trains and the most important stations are shown.
