1942 - service suspended
1950 - service restored
1967 - discontinued

#17/#18 - California Zephyr
Chicago-(via CB&Q)-Burlington-Omaha-Lincoln-Denver
Denver-Salt Lake City
Salt Lake City-(via WP)-Oakland
1949 - becomes a streamliner replacing Exposition Flyer
1970 - discontinued Salt Lake City-Oakland
1971 - operation of segment via Rio Grande continued independent of Amtrak
1983 - became part of Amtrak
