EARLY CTC INSTALLATIONS

Limestone-Kickapoo (Peoria Jct.)
Installed 1925, control machine likely at Kickapoo tower
Replaced around 1957 with new automatic interlocking arrangement

Likely an early simple CTC installation, involving a single track segment north of Kickapoo tower (later renamed Peoria Jct.). Limestone was the south end of a double track segment, and the single track segment likely had full train operation by signal indication, with remote control of Limestone.
