Trailer cars 1301-1345 were originally hauled by steam locomotives, but were built with future electrification in mind. Cars were in motor and trailer pairs, with the trailer car at the north end of a pair. Cars 1230-1239 and 1431-1440 were paired in order, prior cars at random.
