NS TRAIN SERVICES AND STATIONS
BREDA
Junction of lines northwest to Dordrecht and Rotterdam, southwest to Roosendaal, and east to Tilburg and Eindhoven. The actual junction is Breda Aansluiting (Interlocking), 2 km west of the station, and now a flyover. Further southwest and northwest on both lines, are newly constructed connections with the new "Hogesnelheidslijn" (HSL/high speed line), connecting Amsterdam and Rotterdam with Belgium and France. Domestic service on that line connecting Amsterdam and Rotterdam with Breda, is marketed as "Intercity Direct".
