WEST RIDGE TRANSPORTATION CO.

Incorporated in 1946, evolving from the following companies:

West Ridge Transportation Co.
Incorporated in 1922.

Operated various routes in New York and Pennsylvania.

Buffalo & Erie Coach Corp.
Formed in 1925 as bus subsidiary of Buffalo & Erie Railway Co. In 1935 became a subsidiary of West Ridge Transportation Co.

Operated from Erie PA to Buffalo NY, and to Jamestown and Olean NY and Bradford PA.

The above companies were merged in 1946, becoming a subsidiary of Central Greyhound Lines.

West Ridge Transportation Co. consolidated in 1950 into Central Greyhound Lines, subsequently consolidated in 1955 into Eastern Division of Greyhound.
