Beginning in 1925, intrastate bus service was regulated by the North Carolina Corporation Commission. These bus companies and lines were listed in the 1934-1935 and 1936-1937 Biannual Reports. Listed in the 1934-1935 report are the companies and their headquarters, but unfortunately not the routes.
