Most of D-DOT's buses are Nova RTS models, including #3292 built in 1995, seen southbound at the end of its run on the #53 Woodward route, on Woodward at Jefferson in downtown Detroit. The downtown People Mover is seen in the background, above Larned.


In the late 1980's, D-DOT received two orders of "Classic" style buses from Canada. An order in 1986 was manufactured by General Motors of Canada. #2080 was from a 1989 order manufactured in Canada by MCI, and is pictured at Cadillac Square in downtown Detroit.


D-DOT received an order of buses from New Flyer in 1993, including #3105, pictured near Cadillac Square in downtown Detroit.


In 2003, D-DOT received its first low floor buses, from New Flyer. One is seen near Cadillac Square in downtown Detroit.
