SOUTHERN RAILWAY (STEAM)

I once knew somebody, who had ties with Southern Railway's steam excursion operations during the 1970's and 1980's. And he gave me a few train orders from the steam excursions.

Speed restriction order addressed to a steam excursion with locomotive #4501, from Gainesville GA towards Atlanta.

Order providing for a steam excursion from Chattanooga to Birmingham, with Texas & Pacific locomotive #610. Southern Railway had an unusual practice, of running an unscheduled train as a "second section" of a scheduled train.
