Dearborn Station is one old station which has been preserved. Passenger service into the station was discontinued with the creation of Amtrak in 1971, the building houses a variety of businesses.

A closer view of Dearborn Station.

The interior of the present Dearborn Station building, converted to other purposes. The interior does not at all resemble the station when it last served passenger trains, the interior had actually been modernized while functioning as a station.

The only hint of railroads at Dearborn Station are these banners above the balcony of the interior. Some banners for railroads which former served the station, including Santa Fe, and other banners for railroads which never historically served the station.

South of the building, where the tracks were, a park now exists. View is looking through the trees in the park, towards the clock tower.
