Route #691 operated southwest from train Arlington Heights station, while route #692 operated south from Arlington Park station. Routes discontinued 11/27/81, and combined into routes #693 and #695 respectively. Operated under contract by Commuter Bus Systems.
691 - Buffalo Grove-Deerfield Feeder - rush hour feeder introduced 10/31/88, connecting Buffalo Grove with Deerfield Metra station. Cut back to Buffalo Grove Metra station in 1996, after opening of that new Metra line. Discontinued 2/27/98, as unneeded due to availability of parking at new Metra station. Originally operated under contract by CW Transportation, in 1989 Keeshin Charter Service assumed operation.
693 - Arlington Heights-Palatine - introduced 1/9/78, mainly using Arlington Heights Rd. and Golf Rd. between Arlington Heights train station, Woodfield Mall and Harper College, and operating north of Harper College via Palatine Metra station as far north as Rand Rd. and Dundee Rd. After 1989, service on Arlington Heights Rd. replaced by short lived temporary extension of route #690. Service on Golf Rd. was already redundant to route #209. And service between Woodfield and Palatine was covered by introduction of route #699, which replaced route effective 8/7/89. Was operated under contract by Westway Coach until late 1980's, when operation assumed by Ryder Student Transportation.
694 - Arlington Heights - rush hour feeder route introduced 6/26/78, operating north from Arlington Park station. Combined into route #723 effective 11/27/81.
694 - Mount Prospect - introduced 6/24/85. Originally operated under contract by Westway Coach, by 1990's was operated by Ryder Student Transportation. In 1995 operation assumed by Keeshin Charter Service. And by 1999 was being operated directly by Pace through its Northwest Division.
695 - Woodfield-Randhurst - introduced 10/23/78, restructured to route #696 effective 8/7/89. Was operated under contract by Westway Coach until 1995, operations then assumed by O'Hare Express Inc., and in 1986 operations assumed by Kammes Bus Service.
696 - Arlington Heights-Palatine via Rand - All day service introduced 10/23/78, discontinued 11/28/81. Operated under contract by Westway Coach.
696 - Woodfield-Arlington Heights-Randhurst - restructuring effective 8/7/89 of route #695. Operated under contract by Robinson Coach Co., operations assumed by CAR Enterprises in 1993, by Laidlaw/Addison in 1998, by Colonial Coach Lines in 1999, by Keeshin Charter Service/Coach USA in 2000, by Colonial Coach Lines/Academy Coach Lines in 2003, by Cook County School Bus in 2004, by Colonial Coach Lines/Academy Coach Lines in 2007. And in 2010, operation assumed by Pace Northwest Division. Weekend service introduced 3/17/2002, operated by Pace Northwest Division, discontinued 6/5/2004.
697 - Roselle-Woodfield - introduced 10/23/78, operated throughout day primarily via Roselle Road. Discontinued 12/9/88, with some rush hour service continuing to be provided by route #605. Operated under contract by Commuter Bus Systems until 1980, Westway Coach until 1985, Star Transportation briefly during 1985, DAR Systems also during 1985, and finally Kammes Bus Service.
697 - Rolling Meadows Shuttle - operated briefly in 1992 and 1993, became New Wilke and Euclid branch of route #757 by being combined into that route effective 7/12/93. Operated under contract by Ryder Student Transportation.
698 - Northwest Arlington Heights - introduced 1/15/79 as rush hour feeder route, replacing a privately operated route. Route served Arlington Heights train station and operating primarily via Kennicott. Discontinued in mid 1990's. Operated under contract by Westway Coach until mid 1990's, operations then assumed by Ryder Student Transportation.
699 - Palatine-Woodfield-Elk Grove - restructuring effective 8/7/89 of route #693, and effective 7/13/90 combined with route #416, which had earlier replaced a portion of route #405. Operated under contract by Robinson Coach Co., operations assumed by CAR Enterprises in 1993, by Laidlaw/Addison in 1998, by Colonial Coach Lines in 1999, by Keeshin Charter Service/Coach USA in 2000, by Colonial Coach Lines/Academy Coach Lines in 2003, by Cook County School Bus in 2004, and by Colonial Coach Lines/Academy Coach Lines in 2007. Discontinued 2/7/2010.
