
Chicago Railways substation had fed trolleybus lines until 1973, building remains standing.

Continues in service as a regular Commonwealth Edison substation, on Chicago's northwest side. As trolleybus service was introduced in that area in 1930, the substation was then equipped with the necessary rectifier equipment to feed the trolleybus lines.

Chicago City Railway substation may have continued to feed 47th St. trolleybus line until 1965. Building remains standing, unused.

Former Commonwealth Edison substation is now a banquet hall. Fed streetcar lines on Chicago's southwest side, which at the time lacked rapid transit service.

One of three Commonwealth Edison substations still in use, which until 1955 also fed the Calumet & South Chicago Railway streetcar lines. This streetcar company served Chicago's far south side, which at the time lacked rapid transit service.
