Beginning in 1935, transit buses were consecutively numbered, a numbering system which continues today with the Milwaukee County Transit System.

Certain buses were painted for the "Green Bus" routes.

Buses 1195-1199 were originally Indianapolis Transit System 440, 439, 437, 438, 436, acquired in 1959.
