Trains stopped in Mauston, New Lisbon (not listed), and Sparta until the formation of Amtrak in 1971. Amtrak continues to serve Wisconsin Dells, Tomah, and La Crosse.

Wisconsin Dells (195.1) - station was located east of Broadway, on the north side of the tracks. The present station building, used by Amtrak, replaced the previous station at that location which had been damaged beyond repair in a freight train derailment.

Mauston (214.3) - station was located east of Division St., on the north side of the tracks.

Tomah (240.1) - station was located west of Superior Ave., on the south side of the tracks. The station building still stands, used by Amtrak.

Sparta (255.5) - station was located west of Wolcott St., on the north side of the tracks.

Rockland (263.2) - station was located east of Commercial St., on the south side of the tracks. Station was shared with Chicago & North Western, whose track was south of the station.

Bangor (265.0) - station was located west of 16th Ave., on the north side of the tracks.

West Salem (271.3) - station was located east of Leonard St., on the north side of the tracks.

La Crosse (281.2) - station was located east of Rose St., on the south side of the tracks. The station building still stands, used by Amtrak.

La Crosse (old) - on a spur line, station was located south of Vine St., on the east side of the track.
