Incorporated in 1946, acquiring the following company:

Florida Motor Lines
Incorporated in 1919 as Florida Motor Transportation Co., renamed in 1926 to Florida Motor Lines.

Through acquisitions and extensions, formed a main route from Jacksonville to Miami and Key West via US Hwy. 1.

Subsequently acquired the following companies:

White Bus Line
Acquired in 1926.

Operated from Tampa to Miami, primarily via US Hwy. 27.

Union Bus Co.
Acquired in 1935.

Operated from Jacksonville and Tallahassee to Ocala and Tampa.

Seminole Coach Co.
Acquired in 1938.

Florida Greyhound Lines subsequently expanded further, through acquisitions and extensions, including a main route from Tallahassee to St. Petersburg via US Hwy. 19.

Florida Greyhound Lines consolidated in 1957 into Southeastern Greyhound Lines, subsequently consolidated in 1960 into Southern Division of Greyhound.
