NORTH LONDON LINE: Richmond-Gospel Oak-Stratford (AC except DC Richmond-Acton Central)
EAST LONDON LINE: Highbury & Islington-New Cross Gate/New Cross/Peckham Rye (DC)
TOTTENHAM & HAMPSTEAD LINE: Gospel Oak-Barking (diesel)
WEST LONDON LINE: Clapham Junction-Wembley (DC)

All lines 2 tracks. Most lines AC or DC electrification.

INTERESTING CONNECTING LINES

The London area has a dense railway network, all part of the same system. Which has enabled the creation of numerous connecting lines between the various main lines. These connecting lines increase the availability of travel options. Which include the possibility of alternate routes in and out of London, including terminating at different main stations.

Tottenham Area

Main Cambridge Line passes under Tottenham & Hampstead Line, and Southbury Line passes over Tottenham & Hampstead Line. And Chingford Line passes over line to Stratford via Temple Mills. Connecting lines allow certain trains to switch between Cambridge Line and Southbury Line, using Tottenham & Hampstead Line.

London & North Western Main Line passes under North London Line, and connects with West London Line. High Level Line connects between North London Line and West London Line, used by London Overground trains.
