The earliest bus companies to be regulated by the Indiana Public Service Commission, listed in the Annual Report of 1925, the first year of regulation. This was the only time when the list also included routes and certificate numbers. Some lines were local city bus lines. Some certificates were issued under the name of the business owner. Some companies later adopted more meaningful names, and they instead are used here. When some routes are listed as "Discontinued", they might have actually been sold, but details of any sales are usually unavailable. "Sold" is used to identify some of these transactions. Sales of larger companies are mentioned at the 1925-1933 Page. Where a year is not listed, that company continued into existence at least to 1933.
